February 27, 2011 . . . We all went to church . . . came home . . . had lunch . . . Paige and Dad went down for a nap together . . . then Sebastian asked if he could go play outside, make a snowman? "Mom: will you please come outside with me and help me build a snowman?" "of course" . . . So, we did. There certainly was a lot of snow but it wasn't the perfect Washington snow this time so it was hard to make a ball. We tried it "The Snowman" way by just packing the snow up and up, then placing a head on top. It is still standing 4 days later, so it wasn't too bad. This is our third snowman of the season, and the only one to last more than 2 hours! Kids around here like to knock them down. Our first was in the front but close to the sidewalk, the second was behind our house, in the park...I guess people felt like it was free game being in the park: to me, it feels like my backyard though. So this time I put it as close to our front window as possible so there would be no confusion as to who made it and then we decorated him facing our window versus the street.
